A Just Message to the Summit of the Americas: Joint Letter to the President(2009-04-08) RFK Center joined members of the Latin American Working Group (lawg.org) in signing a letter to President Barack Obama outlining the need for just U.S. policy toward Latin America and the Caribbean on the occassion of the upcoming Summit of the Americas in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The groups asked the President to use this valuable opportunity to reveal a new face of U.S. policy towards the hemisphere. |
