Fernanda Katz Ellenberg is an advocacy officer at the RFK Memorial Center for Human Rights. In this capacity she oversees the annual Human Rights Award nomination and selection process as well as the Human Rights Award Ceremony each November. Ms. Ellenberg also oversees the internship program and assists the RFK Center staff with numerous day-to-day activities.

Salvador G. Sarmiento is an advocacy officer at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Human Rights.  He has supported RFK Center's advocacy on a regional approach to the crisis in Sudan, Chad and the Central African Republic; on addressing issues of accountability for the international community's interventions in Haiti; and on long overdue federal legislation for resident-based Gulf Coast recovery.

In October 2009, John Heffernan was named the Director of Speak Truth To Power at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights. Heffernan brings to the Center over twenty years of experience in development, human rights, humanitarian relief and post-conflict reconstruction projects in the United States, Africa, South America, Asia and Europe. 

Manages Book and Journalism Awards and coordinates fundraising events and special projects.
