Celebrities, Politicians & Business Leaders Unite for 5th Annual RFK Center Spring Auction

Presidents Clinton and Carter, Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, Cast of Mad Men, Lenny Kravitz, Woody Harrelson & More Hit the Auction Block for Human Rights
New York, NY – April 23, 2012 – The Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights (RFKCenter.org) launched its 5th Annual Spring Auction today with support from some of the world’s most recognizable leaders spanning government, sports, arts and entertainment. President Clinton, President Carter, Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, John McEnroe, Lenny Kravitz and Clive Davis are just a few of notable figures who are featured to raise funds for the RFK Center’s work supporting fearless human rights defenders and inspiring a new generation of defenders through its powerful human rights curriculum. The auction, powered by leading online charity auction house Charitybuzz, is open to bidders internationally through May 17th at RFKCenter.org and www.charitybuzz.com/RFKCenter.

The RFK Spring Auction features nearly 100 incredible adventures donated by A-list supporters of the organization, with more celebrities joining every day. A few of the most coveted opportunities on the auction block include - lunch with Steve Job’s biographer Walter Isaacson, meeting the cast of Mad Men on set in Los Angeles, a game of backgammon with Woody Harrelson, walking the red carpet at Meryl Streep’s next premiere and the chance to meet Lenny Kravitz in Italy.
