Fiammetta Chiarini

Fiammetta Chiarini was born in Florence in 1981.
After graduating in law with a thesis on "Female Genital Mutilation and the right to asylum: legal and sociological aspects", in 2007 Fiammetta specialized in human rights at the postgraduate course "Human Rights and Democracy" at the Institute of Ius Gentium Conimbrigae of Law, University of Coimbra (PT), also doing an internship at Amnesty International headquarters in Lisbon.
In 2008 she obtained an MA in Peace Education: International Cooperation, Human Rights and European Union policies at the University Roma Tre with the final work on "Civil society in conflict mediation: a gender approach in water wars" written as a result of the Stage at the Paris headquarters of UNESCO (PCCP Program - from a Potential Conflict to Cooperation Potential).
In the summer of 2008 she participated in the annual summer course in Public International Law at the Hague Academy, Hague, Netherlands.

Fiammetta passed the bar in October 2009 and collaborates with the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation of Europe since September 2010.

Fiammetta is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, English and French.
