Frank Mugisha debates Scott Lively on LGBTI Rights

(2012-07-24) Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award Laureate Frank Mugisha appeared on AlJazeera's The Stream yesterday to discuss LGBTI rights in Uganda. Mugisha was joined by UN expert on human rights and sexual orientation Charles Radcliffe and President of Defend the Family Scott Lively, who supports the criminalization of homosexuality. During the 30-minute show, Mugisha and Lively discussed the issues facing LGBTI people and advocacy groups in Uganda, including the proposed Anti-Homosexuality Bill and Minister Simon Lokodo's proposed ban of 38 organizations that "promote homosexuality."
