Gibson Kamau Kuria, the 1988 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award laureate, is a leading human rights attorney striving for constitutional and legal reform and the elimination of corruption and human rights abuses in Kenya. After the collapse of Kenya's authoritarian rule in 2002, Dr. Kuria established the International Centre for Constitutional Research and Governance (ICCRG), a non-profit international organization that promotes, researches, and educates about democratization, constitutionalism and human rights protection.
