Kerry Kennedy Speaks Truth To Power at Harvard

(2012-05-31) In April, the Harvard Graduate School of Harvard invited Kerry Kennedy, President of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, to introduce RFK Speak Truth To Power. During the live Harvard AskWith Forum, Ms. Kennedy emphasized the importance of training students to be human rights defenders. She also discussed bullying and international human rights on EdCast, a weekly podcast available on Harvard University's iTunes page.

RFK Speak Truth To Power encompasses: a book authored by Ms. Kennedy, featuring the true stories of 51 heroic human rights defenders with portraits by Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Eddie Adams; a 12-week human rights curriculum with a "toolkit for change"distributed to millions of students around the globe; a traveling exhibit of Mr. Adams' photgraphs; and a play created by Broadway playwright Ariel Dorfman. The Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University will host a performance of Mr. Dorfman's play, Speak Truth To Power: Voices from beyond the Dark, on June 26 in Atlanta.
