"Stay human" - in memory of Vittorio ArrigoniRFK Europe condemns the brutal murder of the Italian activist ... The Robert F. Kennedy Foundation of Europe, with the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, strongly condemns the brutal murder of Italian human rights activist Vittorio Arrigoni on April 14, in Gaza City.
We wish to remember Vittorio Arrigoni with the words of Robert Kennedy, spoken in South Africa in 1966: “It is from numberless diverse acts of courage that human history is thus shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest wall of oppression and resistance.” |
