RFK Europe launches the STTP projects in Romania

The Robert F. Kennedy Foundation of Europe is proud to announce the launch of the Speak Truth To Power projects in Romania.
Kerry Kennedy, RFK Europe Honorary President, will visit for the first time Bucharest, and will be  part of the numerous programmed activities.

Book

Kerry Kennedy’s book “Speak Truth To Power” has been translated in Romanian by Julian Semillan and Diana Nicolae with the title “Sa Spui Adevarul Puterii” by Curtea Veche publishers.
The book will be launched ad Diverta Store, in Bucharest, on April 8th, where Mrs Kennedy will sign copies.

Educational package

The educational package is being translated in Romanian and will be distributed in 15 schools in the year 2009-2010  in Bucharest, as part of a pilot project, supported by the Romanian Ministry of Education.
Mrs Kennedy will meet students and teachers who will take part in the project on April 8th.

Exhibition

The “Speak Truth To Power - Courage” photo exhibition will be opened by Kerry Kennedy at Carrefour Baneasa in Bucharest on April 8th.

Play

The theatrical play “Voices from Beyond the Dark” by Ariel Dorfman will première at the Cotroceni Theatre on April 7th, at the presence of Kerry Kennedy and the Romanian State Secretary Bogdan Aurescu.

Symposium

Aspen Institute Romania organizes a symposium on human rights, with the participation of Mrs Kennedy, our defenders Marina Pisklakova and Gabor Gombos, the President of the Romanian Senate Mircea Geoana and the President of Romania Traian Basescu.

All projects will be presented at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during a press conference on April 7th, by Kerry Kennedy, Marina Pisklakova, Gabor Gombos, Bogdan Aurescu (Romanian Secretary of State), Ecaterina Andronescu (Minister of Education).
