Romania: the educational project officially launched in Bucharest on February 4 and 5

The training day for teachers of the 15 schools in Bucharest and province involved in the “Speak Truth To Power: Curaj Fara Frontiere” educational project, took place on February 4.
The training was held by Valentina Pagliai, Director of the Educational Programme for Europe, Cristina Balan of the local office of the United Nations, and Eugen Stoica from the Romanian Ministry of Education.

On February 5 the project was officially launched in a press conference. Representing RFK Europe: Federico Moro, our Secretary General.
Other speakers: Eugen Stoica from the Romanian Ministry of Education, Alberto Prestopino from Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Romania (one of our major sponsors in Romania), Mugur Ciumageanu, the local hero for mental disability rights, Dorina Chirtescu, teacher at Sava High School, part of the project for this year, and Oana Popescu from Aspen Institute Romania (our local partner).
