Recently, Wei Jingsheng -- 1994 RFK Human Rights Award Laureate, RFK Speak Truth To Power defender, and fellow Chinese dissident -- paid tribute to Professor Fang in a short piece. In his tribute, Wei avers: "Though the democracy movement has been weakened in China, Fang did not waste his life. Being a tragic hero does not tarnish the true essence of heroism." |
