Students of Livorno perform Ariel Dorfman's play

The “Voices From Beyond the Dark” play by Ariel Dorfman, from Kerry Kennedy’s book “Speak Truth To Power”, will be performed in Livorno on May 14 at Teatro La Goldonetta.

The performance is organized by the Consulta Provinciale degli Studenti di Livorno, a local high school student body, in collaboration with the Ministerial Scholastic Office (Ufficio Scolastico Provinciale) of the Province of Livorno.

The play is part of a project on Legality promoted by the Consulta, and that this year is called “Responsibility”, as it engages, in the legality issue, a whole range of other issues.

The Consulta aims to promote the culture of responsibility through the awareness and understanding of criminal phenomenons and of the protagonists that fight organized crime in Italy, sensitizing and highlighting the daily actions that each of us can do with full responsibility.

This year the project involved not only high schools, but schools of every level and order.
