The Robert F. Kennedy Foundation of Europe at the “Premio Italia Diritti Umani 2010”

On Friday October 15 a delegation from the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation of Europe participated in the “Premio Italia Diritti Umani 2010”, organized by the Free Lance International Press, in memory of Flip vice president Antonio Russo, deceased in 2000 in mysterious circumstances in Georgia during a reportage on the conflict in Chechenia.

This year’s edition of the Award, dedicated, as underlined by Flip president Virgilio Violo, to the issue of immigration, enjoyed the participation of, amongst others, the Italian section of Amnesty International, Emergency and Antigone association.

Amongst the various interventions, Valentina Pagliai, head of the human rights education program of the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation, illustrated the “Speak Truth To Power” project, underlining the goals achieved in Italian high schools and the project’s future perspectives.
