Hungary

Hungary is located in Central Europe. It was a satellite state of the USSR from World War II to 1989 and became member of the European Union in 2004.

The Roma community continues to be discriminated in every aspect of peoples’ lives and members of the community have been victims of attacks from presumed racist groups.

Lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders continue to be the target of attacks from violent groups.
